Once Upon A Time in China

Went to had dinner wif Anies at TESCO Penang.When we reached there,kinda blur to pick a dining place for that night-and suddenly we just made up our mind tostop by at Chopper Board Food Corner,at the ground Floor.

if you want to know what it feels to be in the local traditional chinese home arrangement,probably this is da place for you..attracted with the concept here,where every furnitures are wooden made.

Perhaps this could make this restaurant more traditional in its own way..
Note the very traditional Chinese home arrangement with long tables, wooden stools and wooden doors and windows? I used to live in a house like that with the same kind of table and chairsyeah,i'm lying...of course i'm lying..haha)! How authentic.

So here what we did ordered for dinner:
*Schezuan Mee(Chicken)

-TASTE=Excellent!! i give A for this..
*Kim Chiao Mi-(Kepah jer pun sebenarnya)

-TASTE= GOOD!! I give this B

*Baked marinade Chicken with Rive

-TASTE=mmmmmm?-I give this one B-

*Hot Cocoa-TASTE=Excellent!!!!! I give this one A+++...we both love this hot cocoa soo much....every drop is not wasted..
Schezuan Mee for Anies
and the rice one for me..sometimes i'm just wonder why da one that i've ordered will not delicious as what anies was ordered...huhu....pity me..

Look how delicious that hot cocoa would be...obviously we will come again and had another cup of hot cocoa...how tempting..

In my oppinion,this restaurant is an economical place to eat local rice with a dash of Western influence. Kind of East meets West at cheap prices. The selling point of Chopper Board is their location where they are usually in busy shopping malls, right smack in the building.

Overall, this is a budget place be and it proves that simplicity does matters.... Oh yeah,they also got another branch at Gurney Plaza and Queensbay Mall.

Speaking of which,when the dinner is over we came by at the sidewalk of the Queensbay Mall to enjoy some fresh night air...
