Siam EXPreSS:FasT Thai FooD

Last wednesday Anies and i went to Queensbay Mall(again) to had a dinner.Both of us were very hungry at dat time and couldn't made up our mind to choose whether to had our dinner at Golden Triangle Restaurant or any other Thai food-and i suggest to try this Restaurant-so here we were-at Siam Express Fast Thai Food.

I’ve always enjoyed going out for dinner because, for at least a couple of hours, I get to forget about work. Laughter’s certainly the best medicine, and the company of friends, the right friends, is my pleasure...what a bliss..

We all have certain food preferences, but sometimes, it is necessary to get out of our comfort zone and look beyond our malay-chinese-indian mindset to see what’s available out there..for me i love the environment of this Siam Express..cozy and comfy

and in conjunction with the restaurant name,this is really fast thai food-which is they served that very fast and i really need to make a team with kind of service like dis.


I've ordered Pineapple Fried Rice. The rice is a warm yellow, and it is served with chopped of pineapples,prawns and most importantly i like the cashewnut in it very much!!Anies couldn't resist to steal some of them from my plate..

Being influenced by Chef Chen in this Entry makes me insist to order this diet light coke..and Anies just couldn't believe it-'are you sure?' she asked me.I'm just smile back to her.

This is what anies was ordered -the phat thai tom yam. The soup was thick and full of flavour from the seafood (loads of prawns and squids) and exuded the rich, intense aroma of all the different ingredients.But It was extremely pedas! I kept running back and forth, doing jumping jacks and washing my face in my attempt to overcome the discomfort I was feeling. Anies couldn’t hide the beads of sweat on his forehead despite the airconditioning and the numerous fans pointed in our direction.(i'm kidding?sure...haha)

‘Delicious!’ I exclaimed, as I savoured the pandan chicken patty in my mouth..Very delicious,and probably much better than William's..It looked quite different from the picture on the menu, but aside from that, this was quite delicious.

If you pace yourself well, you’ll have enough room for dessert, and one dessert that is worth trying is the PULUT MANGGA. I’ll let the picture do the talking.What we both agreed was that the pulut mangga was outstanding!!

Dont hesitate to pay visit to this Siam Express Restaurant,apparently have their branch at Gurney Plaza and Queensbay Mall in Penang.Obviously i'll come again later to try anoter Dish,and Bon appetite everybody!!
