The Chronicles of Narnia : Prince Caspian

When the time is over,(i mean visiting time at hospital),we(me,kak tie, jali and shuk) decide to catch a movie at Galaxy Ampang MBO cinema to watch the latest movie : The Chronicles of Narnia Prince Caspian. Not bad for a midnight show,i guest..so we went there and do bought a tickets.

I'm really excited to watch this movie because first episode (The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch And The Wardrobe) was such an outstanding motion picture. It was so stirring to see the appearance of Aslan and the emotion of the Narnians when he first appears to Lucy, Edmund, Susan and Peter Pevensie.

Lets talk about the plot or synopsis:

One year after the incredible events of "The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe," the Kings and Queens of Narnia find themselves back in that faraway wondrous realm, only to discover that more than 1300 years have passed in Narnian time.

During their absence, the Golden Age of Narnia has become extinct, Narnia has been conquered by the Telmarines and is now under the control of the evil King Miraz, who rules the land without mercy.

The four Pevensie children will soon meet an intriguing new character: Narnia's Prince Caspian, who has been forced into hiding as his uncle Miraz plots to kill him in order to place his own newborn son on the throne. With the help of the kindly dwarf; a courageous talking mouse named Reepicheep; a badger named Trufflehunter and a Black Dwarf, Nikabrik; the Narnians, led by the mighty knights Peter and Caspian, embark on a remarkable journey to find Aslan, rescue Narnia from Miraz's tyrannical hold and restore magic and glory to the land.

I thought this movie was really good. The acting was great and effects were amazing. The stories are good, though written in such a childish manner it's hard to be as excited for them as, say, Harry Potter. And the first installment of this series, in my opinion, fell pretty flat. The children's acting is phenomenal, and only at one brief moment did I think a line wasn't delivered quite right. What really sells this movie, however, are the action scenes. This is what really blew me away.

However, this movie just leaves the viewer uninspired. The movie itself fails to manage sufficient character development, many motivations were unclear and in the end you just didn't feel for the characters what they obviously wanted you to.On the other hand, my hunch is that if you're between the ages of 10 and 15, and especially if you're also a girl (Prince Caspian is pretty easy on the eyes), you'll love it so much that you'll see it multiple times, dragging your friends along with you.

I haven't read any of the books so I can't compare this one to a book,. But i loved the first Narnia and was expecting as much from this one as the first one. It was good just lacking in a few scenes.Anyway glad we saw it but its not as great as the first was but it is good.

*overall the movie is ok for me..
